Find a Great Small Group!
You can use our Small Group Finder on the left to help you find the right group.
1.First, decide what kind of group you are looking for. If you are looking for groups that are open to everyone,  click on the button that says “Growth Group” Do you want a group that’s just for men, women or singles? Then, click on the appropriate button.
2.The small group finder will allow you to see all of the groups in the category you chose. You can also narrow down your choices by day of the week, life stage, location or topic.
3.When you find a group that looks interesting to you and you would like to be contacted by the leader, click the box next to that group and then hit the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page. You can click on more than one group if there are several groups of interest to you.
4.When you click submit, you’ll be asked to fill out some basic information about yourself which the leader will then use to contact you.
5.If you do not hear back from that leader within 3 days (hopefully sooner) please contact us at smallgroups@baysideonline.com and let us know so that we can assist you in finding a great group and alert the leader of your interest.

How To Join A Small Group At Bayside

TALK TO GOD -

Ask God for wisdom about what kind of group would be best for you.

IDENTIFY YOUR NEEDS -

What do you want to study? What days of the week would be best and what locations would you prefer? What kind of group are you interested in? Do the ages or stage of life matter to you?

LOOK AT THE OPTIONS -

At Bayside, one-size does not fit all. There are a variety of diverse groups that can meet your unique needs. Use the Search Engine above to find the group that's right for you, or stop by the Connections Ministry Table and pick up a brochure of open groups.

We ask that you contact the small group leaders and talk to them over the phone or e-mail. The "right fit" means that it is a group that you could fit into and feel comfortable being around on a regular basis.

It is a "self-selection" process. Ask the small group leaders questions about their group.

When you find a small group that sounds like it might be ther "right fit", your next step is to go and visit it. You may need to visit more than one and that's OK.  Again, it's all about the "right fit" for you.

Want some more help? Stop by the Connections Ministry Table at any of our weekend services or contact us in the office at smallgroups@baysideonline.com or call us at 791-1244. If you are looking for a Men's Group, Women's Group, College or Career Group, or New Hope Group see their pages on this website or visit their tables at the Weekend Worship Services.

Why Join A Small Group?

In a group you can...

EXPLORE THE BIBLE

Go ahead, ask questions without fear, probe, share your thoughts and learn from the insights of others.

GROW

All healthy things grow! A small group is an ideal environment for growth as a follower of Christ. With a group of friends you will learn, be challenged, encouraged and have fun doing it.

CONNECT

In a large church like Bayside it can be hard to connect with others. Small groups gives you that opportunity to make those connections and make some new friends.

FIND SUPPORT

Small groups provide excellent support in times of crisis, change, and stress. You’ll have a sense of stability and security knowing there are people who really care for you and are committed to standing with you.

LAUGH

Small Groups are fun! Baysiders don't attend our groups because they're forced to they go because they're enjoying them.

SERVE

Most of our groups take on one or more ministry projects during the year. Serving is good but serving with a group is a blast.
